About Lab

• The Garment Construction and Pattern Making Lab is a practical-oriented facility designed to provide students with hands-on training in apparel design, drafting, cutting, stitching, and finishing techniques. The lab enables learners to translate design concepts into well-fitted garments through systematic pattern development and construction processes.
• The laboratory is equipped with drafting tables, dress forms, industrial and domestic sewing machines, fashion maker, pressing equipment, and essential pattern-making tools. Students gain practical exposure to body measurements, basic and advanced pattern drafting pattern alteration, grading, and layout planning. Emphasis is placed on fabric behavior, seam finishes, garment components, and quality standards.
