The Department of Management Studies was established in the year 2002. The objective of the department is to produce aspirant Women Managers with expertise in Finance Management, Human Resource Development, Marketing Management, Advertising Management, Systems Management, Business Laws, Corporate Governance and Business Ethics and who could advise the Top Management on best practices in Business Administration. Besides, the students are provided with right skills, attitudes and values needed for the profession. The students are well exposed to undertake research on Contemporary Issues of Business Administration

The Department frequently arranges Guest Lectures on current issues in Management by inviting Industry Professionals and Academic Experts. It also regularly organizes National Seminars/ Workshops on contemporary areas in Management.
The MBA and M.Phil. (Management) degree holders find placements as Management Trainees, Junior level Managers and Executives in Corporates, IT Sectors and Financial Institutions and as Teaching faculty in the discipline of Management in higher educational institutions.
The department has separate Library with good number of books and subscribes to journals and magazines. It has also Wifi Connectivity to retrieve latest information from websites. To have abreast knowledge in the business field various Business Newspapers are subscribed by students.
The students were encouraged to take part in Management Meet conducted by various Universities and Management Institutes. Students were motivated to take active participation in Seminars and present Papers on innovative topics conducted by various educational institutions. Our students look smart in their professional dress code.
The Department has established a Management Club “Business Galaxy”. The activities conducted by the Club include, Business Quiz, Marketing Games, Paper Presentation, Role Play etc.
